Ever wonder where the fictional characters you create and like go? Most people say the brain, and they’re right, but there’s also another place where they go. They go to a green, bubble shaped dome called the Portal. It’s called that because when you go inside of it, everything looks like something out of a fantasy world. For example, fairies. The portal is a place where everything from a book, videogame, or movie goes, and they each have their own world. For instance, Luigi would go in the Mario world in his hometown, the mushroom Kingdom. The portal is divided by the heroes and the villains. Heroes on the left, villains on the right. Sometimes, the villains will become great friends with the heroes, and vice versa. The antagonists will sometimes stir up trouble, however, and it’s up to the protagonists to stop them. Oh, one more thing. The portal is a dome that can teleport anywhere in the real world, and when you walk inside the center of it, it has windows so you can see which part of the real world you’re in. The only problem is the police. If the police, or anybody sees a fictional character, they will take the character and put it in a museum for display, so that everyone can see that fictional characters are real. I know, it’s sad. Which is why they need a good, strong leader to protect them. The leader is a human.  Hm? Who is the leader you ask? You’ll find out soon enough!
Chapter 1: the usual morning
The alarm clock rang. “Hmmm…” I muttered. I got up out of bed, and ran down the stairs. “Mom, what time is it?” I asked. My mom looked at the clock.  “10 am?!  You’re late for school! Big time!”  Great, just great. My teacher was going to give me a detention. Just what every kid wants. NOT! I gobbled up my breakfast, changed my clothes, and grabbed my lunch.  “Bye sweetie!” My mom exclaimed.  “Bye!” I replied, and hurried out the door. Hi, my name is Peachy Marie, and I’m a sophomore in high school. I go to Greenwood high, home of the cobras. My favorite subject is art, and my least favorite subject is math. I’m very outgoing and friendly, smiling at everyone I meet. However, I can get angry at times. I also have a sweet tooth, and I’ll eat any kind of cake! My hobbies are drawing, reading manga, and watching anime. But anyway, enough about me, let’s get back to the story! When I arrived at school, the students were chattering about their weekend, like usual. I ran inside and slammed the door open.  “Sorry, Miss Smith! I – ”   My teacher interrupted me.  “Why are you late?!” She screamed at me.  “Detention for you!”  She handed me a detention form. I sighed, sat in my seat, and scribbled for the rest of class.  After my detention, my friend, Christine, got me some ice cream. “I heard you got detention.” She stated.  “I don’t want to talk about it. I had a rough day.” I replied.  “Hey, cheer up! Everything will be fine.” She reassured me.  I smiled and gave her a hug. After talking for a few minutes, we split up.  “Bye! Have a good day!” She screamed.  “You too!” I shouted back, and headed home.  On the way to home, I noticed something that looked like a green tent.  “Huh? What’s that?” I thought. “I’ve never seen that before.”  I was curious, so I stepped towards the tent. Only, it wasn’t a tent.  It was a green dome that was glowing!  “Whoa! Maybe there’s treasure inside!” I whispered to myself. I took a deep breath, and slowly went inside the dome!

Chapter 2: new discoveries
Inside the dome, it was beautiful! I had never seen anything like it before. There were butterflies and flowers of all sorts.  “I wonder who lives here…” I thought.  I realized that I wasn’t wearing my everyday clothes anymore. I had a pink and white Pokémon trainer cap, a white T-shirt with a black vest, a pink bag, Jean shorts, and black hiking boots. I immediately recognized which character I looked like from Pokémon: Pokémon trainer white/Hilda. I checked my bag and saw that I had my ID from Pokémon Black, and my Pokémon. I knew what this meant. I was an official Pokémon trainer! My dream had come true! I squealed, and explored the dome some more.  While exploring the dome, I found some flowers and began to pick them, but as I went to grab them, a toadstool jumped right in front of me!  “Tally Ho!” It exclaimed.  “Ahh! Who’re you?!” I screamed.  The toadstool looked at me, and stated, “Sorry for scaring you, Miss. I’m Mayor Toadsworth, mayor of this dome, the portal.”  “So this dome is called the portal?” I asked.  He nodded, and replied, “Yes, indeed it is. This is where all fictional characters live.” He looked at me and asked if I live here.  I stated, “No, I’m not from around here. I’m new.”  His eyes widened. “New?! Well, for heaven’s sake, I must show you around.” He grabbed me by the arm and introduced me to all the different characters.  I met Mr. Nintendo himself, Mario and his brother, Luigi, as well as the princesses of the mushroom and Sahara kingdom, Princess peach and princess Daisy. I even met sonic and his friends, tails, knuckles, and Amy. Mayor toadsworth also introduced me to the Pokémon characters, and stated, “this is Brock, Misty, Max and may.”  I waved to them, and they waved back.  He looked at me for a moment and stated, “That’s not all, there’s more.” He smiled at me.
Chapter 3: familiar faces
I was confused. “More? What more could there be?” I thought. As I was thinking about what else there could be, two boys ran past me.  They both looked about my age. Mayor toadsworth pulled them by the ear, and the boys yelped in pain.  “Where are you two going?  Come say hello to our guest.” The boys looked at me, and I realized who they were.  Ash ketchum, the main character of Pokémon, and N harmonia, leader of team plasma! They were my favorite characters from Pokémon, and I must admit, they looked handsome!  They extended their hands towards me, and I shook them. “We’re Ash and N! Nice to meet you!” The boys exclaimed.  I replied, “I’m Peachy. It’s a pleasure.”  They smiled, and asked me where I was from.  I told them I was from the real world. The 3 were shocked. “The real world?!” They screamed in unison. I nodded, and told them that I was harmless. Toadsworth looked at me, and stated, “Well, everyone seems to like you, so how about you become leader of the portal?” My face lit up!
Chapter 4: a new leader
“Me?!” I exclaimed.  “Become leader!?”  Toadsworth nodded.  My head hung low. He looked at me, and asked, “Why so glum, Ms. Peachy? What’s the matter?”  “I’d love to, but I can’t. I have school, and things going on in life.” I replied.  He frowned, and sighed, “all right, it’s your decision.” As I turned to go home, ash prevented me from leaving.  “Wait, please don’t leave Peachy! We need a leader! Please stay here!” I stared into his kind and caring eyes, and hugged him.  “You guys feel like a family to me. I can’t just leave you all here without a leader.  I’ll stay here and become your leader, your mom, and your friend.”  “So you’re staying here?” ash asked. I nodded. He was overjoyed. “Yeah! You hear that N? She’s staying!”  N’s eyes widened, then he ran toward me, and we hugged. “That’s great!” He shouted, and then turned to the mayor to tell him the good news.  The mayor smiled, and stated, “all right then. I’m glad. But first things first, before you become leader, you need powers. Luckily I have them right here for you.” He gave me all the powers there were. I had the ability to turn into the Pokémon, Plusle, just by spinning around once, and to turn back to normal, I had to spin once again.  The second ability I had was to transform into anyone, however, there was a downside. My voice didn’t change to match the character’s voice, it was still the same. Some other abilities I received were the ability to fly, the ability to read minds, and much more. After I received my powers, I went to the center the portal, where everyone gathers around to hear the news, and gave a short speech. I told everyone that I was willing to protect them, no matter what, and that I was glad to meet them. As I stepped down from the podium, everyone was clapping for me. After that, the mayor took me by the hand and exclaimed, “All hail the new leader!” As the crowd roared, Ash came up to me and stated, “I’m glad that you’re our leader. You’ve got guts.” I blushed, and replied, “Thanks! You too! So, you wanna go Pokémon training?” he looked at me, and exclaimed, “Sure, I’d love to! Let’s go!” He grabbed my hand, and we smiled at each other. However, just as we were about to leave, a blue haired girl ran towards toadsworth.  “Listen, you old hag! I need…” She paused for a moment and looked right at me.  “Who’s this?” She asked.   As she stared at me, I broke into a sweat!
Chapter 5: rivals and villains?! What a nasty surprise!
She walked right towards me, and asked, “Who’re you?”  “I’m Peachy, nice to meet you!”  I replied, and we shook hands. “Cynthia’s my name!” The blue haired girl exclaimed. “Pleasure to meet you!” We smiled at each other, and then she looked at me and asked, “Hey, the new leader is supposed to come today, you know where she is?”  “You’re looking at her! I’m the new leader of the portal.” I replied.  She looked at me and laughed, “Oh ho ho ho! You?! You’re too tiny to be leader, honey! Plus, those clothes are way out of style! Now, where’s the real leader?” Where’s the real leader?! I can’t believe she said that! Plus, I’m not tiny, I’m fun size, and Cynthia is so tall, she could be a giraffe!  “Now, Cynthia, stop teasing her. She really is the leader of the portal.” Toadsworth stated. Cynthia stared at him in disbelief and looked at me. “Her?! You chose her?!” She boomed. “I’m more beautiful than her! It’s not fair!” She looked at ash, and whimpered, “Ashy, don’t tell me you’re on her side...”  “Yeah, I’m on her side. Now leave us alone, before the mayor calls your father.” Ash replied.  “Whatever! Good luck being a leader, you’re gonna need it!” She snickered, and stomped away. I frowned. Ash looked at me and smiled.   “Don’t listen to her. She’s a witch, anyway.” He reassured me, and my frown turned into a smile. As we smiled at each other, someone came running in, and screamed, “Mayor! We have an intruder, and her name is Electronica!” Toadsworth’s eyes widened with disbelief.

Chapter 6: Electrifying things up!
“E-Electronica?!” Toadworth stuttered. “What’s she doing here!? I thought we got rid of her years ago!” Suddenly, a tall woman barged into the portal. She was wearing a yellow and black suit, Pikachu ears, and red Pikachu cheeks. Every time she touched her cheeks, electricity shot out of them. She looked at toadworth and smirked. “Well, you thought wrong mushroom brain. I’m unstoppable!” She flicked his head, and chuckled. She hesitated, and looked around the portal. “Now, which one of you should I destroy first?” She snapped. Her eyes scanned the portal until she came across me!  “Ah, you! Yes, you! You look like a worthy opponent. Come forward.” I stepped in front of the tall woman. “Who are you?” I asked. The tall woman replied, “Electronica’s my name, electricity’s my game. I’ve come here to destroy this place and everything that remains in it, by orders of the boss.” She looked at me. “Who are you?!” She barked.  “I’m Peachy, the new leader of the portal. Pleased to meet you.” I stated.  She burst out laughing, and exclaimed, “You?! The new leader of the portal?! Don’t make me laugh! Oh, that’s hilarious! haha! I got news for you, honey. You don’t have what it takes to be a leader. You’re a newbie.” I glared at her, and smirked. “So? You’re 80 years old, and you still work for your boss.”  Electronica was shocked. “What?! How dare you! I’m only 32!” She fired back at me.  I scoffed. “Huh. More like 88 to me.” My smirk grew wider.  Electronica was steaming mad. “All right! That’s it!” She yelled.  “I challenge you to a Pokémon battle! Single match!”  I scoffed at her once again.  “Tsk, you’re on!” I replied. However, before we started, Ash ran up to me. “This is it. Your first Pokémon battle in the portal. Are you sure you want to do this? You have a Pokémon, don’t you?” He asked me. I shuffled through my bag and took out Reshiram. “Yep! Don’t worry, I’ll be fine.” He smiled at me, and exclaimed, “Of course you will, you’ve got guts, after all! Good luck!” I smiled back. “Thanks! I got this.” I told him. I threw my pokeball, and Reshiram came out, roaring. “Hello new master! I’m happy to help.” Reshiram stated. “Great! Let’s do this!” I exclaimed. Electronica threw a pokeball, and the Pokémon Menetric leaped out. It roared like the sound of thunder. Electronica commanded it to use electro ball, and it sent out a ball of electricity towards Reshriam.  Reshiram counterattacked the ball of electricity with a move called Draco meteor, which sent his opponent flying out of the portal. Electronica was dumbfounded. “How!? How did a teenager defeat me?!” She screamed in agony. I just smirked at her, and replied, “Maybe next time you shouldn’t underestimate newbies.” She growled at me. “I’ll be back! Just you wait!” She slammed the door behind her.  I took a moment to process what had just happened, including everyone else. I just participated in my first Pokémon battle and I won! Everyone ran towards me. “That was awesome! Not bad for a beginner!” Some people in the crowd shouted. I blushed. “It was nothing…” I replied. “Nothing at all.” Suddenly, the Mayor ran up to me.  “Ms. Peachy! That was marvelous! You truly deserve to be called the new leader of the portal!”  I blushed crimson.  “What’s wrong? Why, your face is as red as a Ruby!” The mayor exclaimed.  I stuttered, “I’m astonished by all this flattery you’re giving me…”  Everyone burst out laughing until their sides hurt.

Chapter 7: how can this be?! A fictional character, and a real life being?!
The next day, I decided to go for a walk as a reward for defeating Electronica. The sun was shining and the birds were singing! It was quite a beautiful day! I breathed in the fresh air. It was refreshing! I started to walk down the path, when I heard a voice. “Hey Peachy! Wait up! Can I go with you?” It was ash, running towards me.  “S-sure!” I stuttered, trying to hide the fact that I was blushing really hard.  “I could use some company.”  “Great, let’s go!” He replied.  We headed down the path, breathing in the fresh air. As we were walking, I noticed some flowers, and wanted to give them to the Mayor as a gift of thanks. I stopped and picked them. Ash helped me. After flower picking for a while, Ash asked me, “Peachy, what is love really all about?”  I was astonished he asked me this.  “Why are you asking me such a random question?!” I blurted out.  “Easy, easy.” He reassured me. “I just want to know.”  I looked at him. He wasn’t angry at me or upset. He was really calm.  I responded, blushing, “I really don’t know myself. I’ve never been in love before.”  “I see. Well, would you like to find out?” he asked me. I was shocked. Could this be considered a date!? I assumed it was a joke. “Of course. I‘d find out by watching a documentary on love.” I joked.  He chuckled.  “You’re funny. I like that.”  “I try to be.” I told him. He smiled at me. I looked at his deep, dark rich, brown eyes. They were sparkling in the sunlight. I fell in love! I leaned toward him and puckered my lips. I leaned closer and closer until Ash put his finger on my lips.  “Shh...” He whispered. “Don’t speak.” I asked him why. He removed his finger from my lips.  “Listen … There’s something I like about you.” I gave him a surprised look.  “I like the way you battled the other day. That showed me that you have determination.”  “Thank you. Now I have a question for you.” I replied. “Yes, what is it?” He asked me. “Suppose a fictional character and a person from the real world were to fall in love… Could they ever be together?” I asked.  He looked at me and kissed my cheek. Then he whispered, “Anything can happen in the portal, so I suppose they could.” He winked at me.  I smiled, blushing.  “Thanks…Ashy.” I told him. When I realized I had said this, I covered my mouth, embarrassed.  “No problem, Peachy-cakes!” He exclaimed, as we headed to the center of the portal together.

This is a really cute start~ I like it~ I do feel that this is slightly rushed, but not too much and there is the odd missing Capital letter. But, aside from that, this is kewt and fun~ :la:
